Came here for dinner since we wanted to try Kobe beef teppanyaki style. We first tried the Kobe beef set menu, which included two pieces of Kobe beef sushi, two pieces of Kobe beef sashimi, salad, and soup. The sushi and sashimi were solid, but on the chewy side. We also got prime Kobe beef filet (110g for 25,800 yen) and prime Kobe beef chateaubriand (110g for 34,800 yen). The beef came with some veggies and side sauces. The chateaubriand was so unique to try. It was incredibly tender and soft. The beef filet was also tender and enjoyable. Very pricey for the few bites of beef, but fun to experience. My biggest complaint would be how touristy this spot is. When the meat came out, they asked if we wanted to take a picture with it. That’s already a red flag. After we ate, they gave us a certificate of proof that we experienced Kobe beef. At the end of the meal, they asked if we wanted to tip even though Japan does not have a tipping culture. We did tip as we felt obligated. Overall, the quality of the beef was solid, but this is definitely a touristy restaurant
